Spring is here!

On May 12 we will be going to Sister Kathryn's house to do some yard work. Weeding, picking up sticks, and pine needles will be our focus for this evening. Dress warm....

Unless we have volunteers for the progressive dinner "stations" we will be canceling this event. We need an appetizer, salad, and dessert home to host this event. It is set for this Sunday 12pm - 5pm.

Also, I need to know who wants to go to Great America. We need at least 30 people to get a discount. Everyone is invited. We will need to figure out transportation and have drivers. Only the active youth group member who have helped out with the events will get their tickets paid for. The cost for the ticket is $30. Please let Heather, Judy, Luz or Andrew know right away.

We will be wrapping up in a few week. We also have a car wash set for June 12 from 9am - 12pm. Schedule your time to attend this. This event help support our extra activities.

The youth group leaders will be meeting over the summer to come up with a plan for the 2010-2011 school year. Our hope is to focus on the spiritual side of our faith and attend at least one retreat. However, we are fortunate enough to have several events for our area. Our last meeting is scheduled for May 26. We have had a great year and have been blessed by our congregation's support.
